Colorado State Archives has a listing of people who were in the State Penitentiary between 1871 and 1973. They also have "mug shots" that can be ordered for persons that were there between 1893 and 1980. What you will find is an on-line index to look for the name of the person. You can then submit an on-line request to find out how much it will cost to receive copies of the information (out of state searches are $25.00 and allow three pages of photocopies with additional pages being $1.25 each).
