Does anyone have any info on Charles Meyers/Myers, who was William Leidesdorff's clerk living in San Francisco, CA from at least 1846-early 1848? I'm particularly looking for some clue to his origins and his whereabouts after May 1848. The last reference I can find for him is a May 1848 letter to him from Thomas Larkin (appointed executor for Leidesdorff's estate).
