African American chamber plans mayoral forum

The African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania will host a mayoral candidate's forum at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Rivers Club, Downtown.
Five candidates are expected to discuss issues affecting small business; what their involvement has been with African-American business owners and professionals; and their plans, if elected, to advance procurement for African American business owners and professionals.
Participating candidates will include: former Allegheny County Council member and community activist Louis "Hop" Kendrick; Allegheny County prothonotary Michael Lamb; Squirrel Hill resident Lester Ludwig; 11-year City Council veteran Bob O'Connor; and first-term City Council member William Peduto.
Panel moderator will be Rod Doss, editor of The New Pittsburgh Courier.
