Hello,

The 1880 U.S. Census shows a Staten Brown, born in 1827, living in Greenville, Pitt Cnty., North Carolina.

Does anyone have any information re: the above mentioned Staten Brown?

I can't help but wonder if he was a son of my gggrandfather, Staten Brown who was living in Halifax Cnty., N.C. according to the 1830 U.S.Census.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
