Does anyone know anything about the following person?

The 1880 U.S. Census shows Staten Brown, born about 1827 in North Carolina. He was 53 and a laborer living in Greenville, Pitt Cnty., North Carolina. He was single. Father and Mother were born in North Carolina.

Does anyone know the names of his parents, siblings, or anything about his ancestors? I think that he may be a son of my gggrandfather Staten Brown who was living in Halifax Cnty., N.C. in 1830
