Hello All,

Someone on the Baltimore City or St. Mary's County list asked a few days ago when the 1945-1951 death indexes for MD counties would be posted on the MD Vital Records Indexing Project web site. The web page http://mdvitalrec.net/cfm/dsp_search.cfm indicates these years are available, but they are not on the linked search list. After I asked the MD Archives about this discrepancy, here's what they said:

The county indexes from 1945-1968 are currently being scanned and will be posted to the website at an unspecific date this year. The citation is taken from our main website citation. It is a keyboarding error that was discovered not too long ago. Please keep visiting the site for news from our schedule regarding the posting of the new indexes.
