data: In the name of God Amen the thirty first of September 1748. I Eleanor Deloach widow of Brunswick County Virginia being in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God Therefore calling unto mind therefore the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all People to Die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament...Imprimis I give and bequeath a young negroe Girl Child unto my GrandDaughter Celia Phillips and the said negro being called Hagor and if the said Celia Phillips should die without Heir I give the said negro unto her Sister Anne Hill and her heirs forever.Item I give and bequeath unto my Son Francis Deloach one negro wench named, to wit, Isabell and the said negro wench to him and his Heirs forever.Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Thomas Deloach Son of Francis Deloach one negro Girl Child named, to wit, Phillis and the said negro Girl to him and his Heirs forever.No further slaves mentionedWill written on September 30, 1748 and proved September 26, 1750.
