The ZULU Social Aid & Pleasure Club is celebrating their 100th Anniversary 1909-2009. Tonight 20 February 2009 they celebrate their Coronation Ball.

Best to wishes to cousins Cynthia Taylor who has ridden with the Zulu's for over 20 years. This year on the Mayor’s float while in previous years she rode with Big Shot (both the Mayor and Big Shot are Zulu characters) – every since Katrina Cynthia has gone back to New Orleans and participated in Mardi Gras Zulu style.

Also best wishes to Cousin Shenae Harris selected to be a Maid for this historic year with Zulu. Shenae’s aunts and uncles all masked with the Mardi Gras Indians as children.

Have a great time at the ball and have fun riding in the 100th Zulu parade on Fat Tuesday.
