The cemetery where Mr. Pope is buried, Frederick Douglass Memorial Park on Staten Island is in receivership and at risk of being abandoned. There is a meeting of plot owners and interested parties on Friday, November 14th to discuss its dire condition and fate. Where: Cromwell Center, Staten Island New York
