James,
Not really close except for the first letter but there was a Morristown College in Morristown, Hamblen, TN that was established not long after the end of the civil war, absorbed into a Knoxville, TN college in the late 1980's and closed alll together in the early 1990's. Just something to add to your list for consideraion.
