Re: Pope Photography Studios, Brooklyn
Just last night 8/15/08 I ran into a young lady who modeled for Pope studio's contest and also trained the yong ladies to model. Her name then was Rita Pittman. She was a runner up one year. I too modeled in '65 with the first group of male models. We talked briefly about Mr. Pope and "the good ole days". Rita mentioned something about having some pictures. I am not clear whether she was refering to contest pictures or just studio pictures. I may have one or two myself. One being a photo of one of the contestants on my father's convertible during the parade that culminated the contest, and publicly displaying the winners. I do have contact with other models who may have pictures.
