I guess you can say I have family in/from Barnwell as well: Bamberg which was formed from "Old Barnwell" and Orangeburg (parts from which Barnwell was formed). These are mostly my Jenkins, Salley and Owens lines. I will email you additional info.

No, I have not pursued the Lofton connection yet. I have a cousin who is married to a Lofton and I asked her about it via email, but have not heard back. I will definitely pursue it more when I am able to resume the research.
