Is anyone familiar with church history in Braidwood, Illinois? Still trying to connect Rev. Pleasant Tucker to a church in Braidwood (source: his obit) between 1875 and 1900-approx. He was supposedly the/a founder of an African American Baptist Church. The closest that I may have come is a First Baptist Church which burned down there in 1971. Any suggestions on where to look would be appreciated.
