I remember seeing lots of family photos over the years with 'Pope Studios' stamped on them. I know that it was located in Bed-Stuy, along Fulton Street (I believe). Why did it close--did the owner pass away and no family to keep it going? What ever became of the negatives and such? I'm very curious.
