I cannot seem to get good copies of this amazing document. These church minutes begin in 1825 and go through the 1940's. However by he 1880's the blacks had formed their own congregation.
After seeing my ancestor's name mentioned in a list of "Beulah's Colored Members", I requested the microfilm to get a look at it myself.
What I have found is that while there is an actual list or two of the members, part of the list published on line came from mentions within the minutes of application for membership, baptism or discipline for actions of its colored members outside of good Christian character.
Consequently, my beloved Daniel TEMPLES was accused for taking goods from his owner's home.
