Around 1900 in Abbeville, Wilcox county, Georgia:
"....Abbeville hosted a state convention for a black
organization called Georgia United Order of Wisemen
of the East of America for its 3-day session."

This information I extracted out of a book by the following

I have been unable to find any other reference via book
or internet to this organization. Does anyone else know and
or heard of this organization?
