VKN and Lyndam, Thank you for the info and for the words of encouragement! I must say, it seems as though my ancestors are working overtime. I have been very fortunate with my "finds" lately. There has been so much that I haven't had time to organize my families genealogy files!!

I encourage anyone that reads this post, don't give up in your quest to find family, I have found my family in some very odd places doing some wonderful things for their communities. searching online enables you to get a good start but you MUST get out and research libraries, FHC's, courthouses etc.. When you put forth the effort, your ancestors WILL respond.
