My grandmother mentioned back in 2000 that she attended Freedom Enterprise school in Marshall Texas. This school I am told was located just off of Legion Field Road in the country. It was also one of the Rosenwald schools but is not the same one as Central. I have not been able to get any records nor any info on where they would be housed. I also got an email from Herb Bender who looked in the school records and the only thing stated was that "Joseph Taylor had six children attending school". No names or ages of children were given, nor the name of the school. I think that Central, another school there in Marshall was closer to town. You may also want to check and see if they kept any of those records.
