Just a little trivia. When DuSable High School in Chicago was opened it was called Wendell Phillips High School South as an extension of Wendell Phillips High School where my mother, uncles, sisters, and I graduated. Abe Saperstein started the Harlem Globetrotters with the graduating seniors from the basketball team as the nucleus. They did not originate in Harlem. They originated on the Chicago's southside.
