I am planning my family reunion and I am looking for items to fill goodie bags. How do you request donations from companies. Does anyone have a sample of a request letter? I want to write a letter but I don't know to word it. Also for those of you who have received donated items was it difficult to obtain donations. I have looked at some of the websites of companies I am interested in and most of them say they only donate to 501 (C) (3) companies. Please share your experiences.
