I spoke with the manager and she said she would still honor the contract and give me the same group rate that the Hampton Inn gave me.

She said that there would be no staff changes and she is going to rewrite the contract with a Lexington logo instead of Hampton Inn. Their contract with the Hampton Inn expired and they decided not to renew it.

The staff seems to be glad that they are not with the Hampton Inn anymore. They wanted to expand their services. The Hampton Inn limited them to what kind of services and amenities they could offer. They wanted to expand the breakfast menu and have begun remodeling the guest rooms.
