We already have our picnic location selected. It is at Lower Huron Metro Park near Detroit. However, I'm still trying to find a decent hotel. As I mentioned in other posts, we are trying to keep cost low. I am trying to stick to hotels that are $89 per night or less. However, in my research I'm finding that the cheaper hotels are usually not the nicest places. Whether that be they are in the bad part of town, poor service, or poor housekeeping. But I'll keep looking and see if I can find something that is both nice and inexpensive and have the amenities we need so that I can reserve a block of rooms.
