Just like A. Spence, I am doing this now. I did it the same way with my research. I have made connections with fellow family history researchers who have some of the same people on their trees. Most of the connections were made through AfriGeneas.

I use Family Tree Maker 2009 software to keep my family history research. I have a family contact listing of names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses in an Excel spread sheet.
