Just seeing this post, but better late than never

One thing that we have done for the reunion is add ad hoc items, such as a book of family history, reunion DVD, etc. which then starts the seed fund for the next reunion and also provides money for our annual genealogy research trip. We charge $20 per book and $10 per DVD. I provide the services of research, compilation, video, and video editing for free. We raised over $1,000 this way, but it also includes donations from family members as well.
