This year, I did a slide show of old and new pictures. Just connected my laptop to a projector and showed it on the wall. added a few songs to it and it was done. Everyone loved the slide show and seeing family members from all sides.
I got the projector a week before the reunion and returned it the day after. Renting one cost just as much as buying.
