This sounds like the beginning of my quest. Know this--it may take a while but little pieces of information will come. Mine came from family members who didn't seem to think I was interested in nothing but 'bad stuff'. The good and bad is what makes us who we are. Don't stop looking. I started with 3 pages of info, now I am up to 40 pages. It took 10 years, but I know stuff nobody thinks I could have possibly found. The 'how to find these old papers' can come from asking for help from people on the forum OR maybe your local library can help. Look into the old newspapers from the time family lived in the area.
