How many people are you expecting? You should first send out an RSVP so you'll have an idea of the numbers you'll be having. This will allow you to plan a budget, set a venue, plan for the food and plan for any extras (T-shirts, gift bags, etc). Remember, potlucks will always require dependable volunteers to bring food, serve (if you want to) and clean up.
