this year our cash auction was much more successful because we did a chineese auction. We still did the W-M dollar auction but for more costly items $20+ or nicer things we sold raffle tickets at the door.

These items were set on a seperate table with a bag in front of each item. People then bought raffle tickets and placed them in the bag of their choice. One cousin who it was their first time won a ton of gifts. It was a great time and we will do this type of raffle/auction again.
