I would think a vice-president would basically be your right arm, assisting you with important projects that the committee has decided to embark upon. For example, assisting you in researching potential sites for your reunion banquet - that sort of thing. The VP provides back-up for the president, making sure that leadership issues get addressed and keeping the president abreast of other issues as they arise.

I'd also think they'd be one of at least two signatures required on your reunion committee's checks.

That's all I can think of right now. Gee, I guess we could give Dick Cheney a call... ;-)
