Re: Make it a Reunion Project: DNA Testing

Yes, my family made it a family project and was able to raise the funds to purchase both the MatriClan test and the PatriClan test, and the results were what you saw on the website.
Believe it or not, I've already had one negative comment from one white guy who apparently does DNA. Without asking, he had the audacity to cast doubt, so I basically told him, "I would suggest that you sit and talk with Dr. Kittles to fully understand his DNA analysis before you try to offer unsolicited advice casting doubt towards information that families have longed to have."
At this point, nothing is 100%, but I trust that our results are indeed a reflection of my family's DNA. So, I am Mbundu and Akan, and VERY happy to know it! As a matter of fact, my classmate recently put me in touch with her friend from Angola. Guess what? She's part of the Mbundu people too. She said that she shed tears when she saw our website! So...despite what others might say, I am still on Cloud Nine and appreciative of African Ancestry's DNA program.
