I get so much out of reading the 'testimonies about connection' here on Afrigeneas. I have felt lost for so long in this family. It always seemed when I tried to become connected, somebody in the family would say something, jealously, to make it seem I was the 'troublemaker'. When I started doing research it was for my own curiosity. I wanted to know about those pictures my grandparents had. Who were those people. Well in my travels to find the past, I learned not to give out too much information. I leave them wondering. But each time I find a new member it gives 'ME' joy, because due to death's of their parents, they thought they were the only family left. As for the other's, I can't worry about it any more. Some cousins are intersted for the moment, other's are happy to know there are more cousins out there. Each new member found is a family reunion.
