If you haven't done so, I suggest you create a reunion booklet for family with the information as to how you were able to find ancestor's. People will become more interested when you include a lot of pictures and tell the story about the picture. I had a young cousin that gave me an insight into what he had been thinking. My second reunion book has pictures of deceased and living members next to the names in the pedigree chart. He said "all of these people don't look like they are dead'. Of course I happily explained, 'You are a member of this family. Look at the names that have 'd' for deceased. All the other's or alive but live in different states. These people are all of your cousins on your father's side of the family.' It was wonderful to a see that 'light bulb' of 'OH' COME ON IN HIS EYES. He went back and really started reading. He may be the next family griot.
