Congratulations on a successful reunion! Our first 3 reunions were held in the same place in Mississippi, and we decided to move the reunions around in 1998. Needless to say, that did a world of good for us because a lot of family members treat the reunion like a vacation and were very willing to travel. As a matter of fact, when we took the reunion to Chicago, we had more people in attendance there than the reunions in Mississippi and Memphis, and most of the family live in Tennessee and Mississippi!! Some of the folk who did not attend the reunion when it was right in their "backyard" came to Chicago! Now, we are all for traveling to different cities.
