I use a similar type of tree in my classroom, it can also be used in terms of a family reunion.....Minus the smiley face, treehouse and animals that is. And I will use handprints in place of leaves, with names labeled on them, of each person that is in attendance. It can then be posted on the wall during the banquet for everyone to see.

1. Draw, or trace, the tree onto a very large piece of paper, or several smaller pieces of cardstock.

2. On separate pieces of paper, draw leaves or handprints.

3. Paint or color tree and leaves(or handsprints)

4. Cut everything out and assemble on the wall.
