I like the idea of someone who is from that state announcing the death or it could even be the family historian who notes all the deaths since the last reunion. If photos are available, it would be nice to have those around so people know who you are talking about. If you have a family e-mail list, you can also send out notices when you find out. That's what I've done up until now.
