The "clique" has always been a problem at our reunions. I had stopped going until 3 years ago,we have ours every other year. My grandmother went to all of them until she became ill, and I took it upon myself to take up where she left off....The 1st reunion I went back to was in Hartford, Conneticut in 2002,and I made a promise to myself,that I would get to know the families, so I just started going up the family members and introducing myself,and starting up a conversation,and then taking their picture afterwards. Lord know I wish I had done this in the past, because I know a wealth of family and family history now....The "Clique" has to go.
