Best Wishes for a successful and memorable family reunion!

For my family reunions (both paternal and maternal), I submitted a write-up to the local newspapers after the reunion. I did this more for documentation than for attmepting to reach family members. But for wanting to reach family members so they will attend, placing a notice in the paper beforehand is the way to go, I believe.

Neither newspaper charged me a fee for printing the write-up and, surprisingly, they did not edit the pieces but printed them exactly as I'd written them. Of course, placing a notice in the local paper works better when it is a small town, as opposed to a large city paper.
