I'm having the same issues as everyone else with family not responding promptly to deadline dates. This is the first family reunion that I am organizing and the registration deadline is June 6th and I haven't received anything via mail yet. One thing that I will do is follow up via phone with those that haven't RSVP. In addition, I have told the committee members to make it very clear to individuals that I will not under any circumstances accept money the day of the reunion. A reunion is supposed to be a nice event for family members to get together and have fun. Unfortunately there are those that don't cooperate and make things harder so you have to go with those that do.
