A thought on generating Family History & Genealogy interest within family groups.

The MyFamily interactive UN/PW'd Home Pages are a tool that might possibly be of help.

I know.....here's another website "thingee" , but this seems to work, at least for one branch in my Family Tree. I have a "personal" website on FTM, see Link below, that is available to the public and deals with MY genealogy. Then I manage a User Name/Passworded site that deals with only the "Descendants of Lewis & Susan Adams". Currently we have about 75 members, some are more active than others, but it is a great tool. NOT a commercial.....Take a look at MyFamily.com and read about the possibilies.

Through this method we have "promises" from members who have not attended an Adams Family Reunion in years, some never. The Adams line has been having Reunions since 1913 and this year will be the 92nd consecutive Reunion. I think the UN/PW Family website is mainly responsible for the "renewed" interest.

The annual cost is reasonable and can be a Reunion expense.
