That's was what I wanted to suggest, too. Our banquet doesn't have to be at the hotel. I was going to suggest off site catering rather than having the banquet at the hotel because it is usually cheaper. Also, we could have dinner at a restaurant like Old Country Buffet or The Golden Corral. But getting my fellow committee members to agree with it is another thing.
