I love all of these ideas ... they're wonderful!

If I may, I'd like to add one project I've been trying to get someone to take on for a couple of years.

I think it would be wonderful to have a family quilt assembled by a seamstress in the family. The entire thing done by family members with love. Relatives would be asked to submit a quilt piece, size predetermined by the seamstress, that tells who they are or what their passion is.

Got the idea from the Aids Quilt. The Quilt could even be passed from family to family at each Family Reunion always returning to the original Seamstress for new additions.

Seamstress might also want to come up with a design ahead of time and assign pieces accordingly.
