I attended a reunion where a good friend did a wonderful thing for her reunion that I plan to repeat the same thing. She made a beautiful heritage scrapbook for the family. She took it to a reunion the year before and received all kinds of accolades as everybody wanted to see it.

The surprise to all was that she also made a duplicate of the scrapbook and raffled it off.

This is an excellent way to raise funds for the family charity or the family scholarship, or other project that the family may have.

Because it pertained to the family history---many of the folks were interested in participating in the raffle.

She still has the wonderful scrapbook that she made, but now someone else in the family has the coveted book, and it has planted the seeds for others to do the same thing on other lines of their families.
