I will make this suggestion to anyone creating a family reunion book,..What do the the young people think and see? The only way I was able to look at their ideas was to put the throwaway camera in 2 age groups hands and tell them to take certain posed pictures they liked. It gave them 'power' to play candid camera. Camera's go on sell and when you stock up make sure you write the name of ther person on the camera when you hand it to them. A 24 print camera with flash is the best. Then request that they give the camera back to you before the reunion so you can display the pictures. You can get pictures put on CD's or do it yourself. Only you or the reunion committee should view and then add to the children's scrap book. Build up the momentum by scanning a picture onto one of those newsletter's. Talk about the pictures then show everything at the reunion. It's amazing what children like. Anytime during the year is the the right time to put a camera in one of the juniors hands. Of course the parents are going to want to a copy of their childs handiwork. That's up to you to decide what to do. We have forgotton what a child or junior will see!! Each year pick a different junior to take pictures.
