So me and my cousins got together and planned the reunion and it was a success.
For a few years, the reunion actually travelled. And those that planned it were the ‘next’ generation. Meaning my grandmother and her siblings are the elders (in their 70’s) and my dad, his siblings and 1st cousins are the next generations (in their 50’s+).

We planned it one year in FL and I was lucky enough to be a part of that. It was a success. The next year my uncle planned it and it was great. The years following, the elders brought it back to NC. It hadn’t moved since. I think the elders didn’t like the traveling and wanted to keep it with tradition. We've had our reunions in NC since 1968.
