I am in the initial planning stages of our family reunion. But I am having a disagreement with a fellow committee member.
We are getting ready to send out letters to family members to let them know we are planning a reunion for next summer. We are looking for ways to cut down on our postage cost. The person that I'm working with wants to send out post cards announcing a reunion. I say that we should still send letters.
I just feel that a letter can convey more information than a post card. I feel that a letter can get the attention of the reader better than than a post card can. With a post card, the reader can just throw it somewhere and forget about it and not think of planning a reunion.
What do you think is a better method of getting the word out to family members that a family reunion. Did you use letters or post cards?
