I am working on planning our next reunion and due to past hx many are leary of the reunion because they feel they are overcharged by relative who usually plans reunion. I thought to send out a estimated breakdown as suggested in another post
We are looking at four different places to host the reunion (OH, VA, NJ or PA) and will make final determination based on interest and cost. Local amusement park prices are about the same its the group price that will be different already have estimates on hotel (hotel planner.com). Is the below a estimate a good guestimate of a reunion cost.
Annual Reunion Fee $20 per family
Goodie Bags & Souvenirs-$6 per family Will work to obtain freebies and samples. Bags, candy, guides, etc
Games, Toys Prizes & Awards-$10 per family Toys will be purchased for children to play with, games for adults and children.
Printing & Mailing-$4 per family This includes post cards, newsletters, reminders, booklets, name tags, etc
ALL FEES LISTED BELOW ARE ESTIMATES AND WILL CHANGE BASED ON FINAL NEGOTIATED PRICE
Per Family Fee
Reception-$15 per family (hospitality room may be free depending on #rooms booked) Fee would just need to pay for beverages, snacks, pizza & sandwiches
BBQ/Seafood Feast-$25 per family Depends on location if applicable Meat, Fish, shrimp, clams, crabs & Beverages. All attendees must bring a side dish
Hotel-↓$90 per night Each person must pay for their own hotel rooms individually

Banquet-↓$30 per person (Dinner, Music, Microphone, TV/Screen) Will go with place that has separate cost for children
