My daughter found this picture on the internet and sent it to me. My birth name is Pettiford, my Father's name was Vernon Kenneth Pettiford, his father was Dana Pettiford and his father was Dan Pettiford.

We believe that Dan left N.C. and arrived in Chillicothe, Ohio. There is a woman in the 1935 reunion picture who look just like my grandfather Dana. she has on a floral dress.

If any of these names is a link to the family in the pcture I would love to here from someone and so would my daughter.
