Can I come? It sounds like a wonderful weekend that you have planned. Is this a reunion or simply a family gathering?

I agree with you on the tv's, radios, etc. You really want them to spend the time with one another rather than off by themselves watching the latest reality show. I would suggest that you come up with something really great to gather everyone together after the sun goes down. If you entertain them they'll forget they bought those modern electronic conveniences.

Sounds like you have quite a few young people why not see if you can get them to come up with some kind of performance they can put on for the rest of the family? Perhaps a spoken word contest? You could even do a round-robin kind of thing that asks each family member to share their favorite moment with a special relative, etc.
