I don't know. I found in the 1888 U.S. Census, Harrison County, Texas, Precinct #4, Supervisor District 2. Vol. 16, E.D. 50, Sheet 56, Line 29, Cap Boyd (my gg grandfather)born 1831, who was married to Mattie (maiden name unknown) born 1856. They were living with their children: Octave (my g grandfather), Perry, Mattie M., and Willie.

Cap was found on my g grandfather's death certificate. I know nothing else about any of Cap's family.
