We all seem to have the same problem at family reunions, getting to know cousins. I am getting to know new extended family this year. Some I think I only want to see once a year and other's are a pleasure. I tend to get ideas late in the evening and have learned to put it to paper. In order to get folks to intermingle at the picnic, how about giving away attendance prizes every hour starting at the time the picnic begins and the best prize at the end of the picnic or banquet day. This could help get folks there on time for group picture's. What do you think? There are store's that have early morning close out sales and nice gift items can be bought for little or nothing. Or gag gift's can be added to the prizes. Either way everybody would be eligible.
